As our towel rails and radiators are made from a Type 304 Stainless Steel, it holds back rust unlike some other towel rails and radiators which possess a lesser grade.
Type 304 Stainless Steel is a variation of the basic ‘18/8’ grade, Type 302, with higher chromium and lower carbon content. This lower carbon content minimises chromium carbide precipitation due to welding and it’s susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. Type 304 Stainless Steel can be exposed continuously to a maximum temperature of 899°C (1650°F) without appreciable scaling. For intermittent exposure, the maximum temperature is around 816°C (1500°F). Types 304 Stainless Steel have very good drawability. Their combination of low yield strength and high elongation permits successful forming of complex shapes.

This Stylish Range of Thermostatic heating allows the temperature of the radiator to be selected between 30 - 60°C in 7.5 degree intervals. Press the left button to reduce the temperature (press the right button to increase it). The LED lights indicate the temperature setting and the centre button is the on/off switch. These heating elements are of superior quality and are supported by a manufacturers 2 year guarantee. These elements can be utilised in other makes of radiators and heated towel rails so long as there is sufficient length for the element to fit.
