Rigorous testing has proved that the finish is scratch resistant, it offers consistency in colour and it will not fade, the reasons why we are delighted to offer a lifetime guarantee on the Infinity™ finish.
5 Years Guarantee
All Bristan products are manufactured of high grade materials and are subjected to stringent quality control procedures. Supporting this commitment to quality is a 5 year guarantee against any manufacturing defect. As gold and special colour finishes are softer than chrome plate, a 3 year guarantee covers these finishes.
How do I clean gold plated products?
Harsh abrasives and general bathroom cleaners must NOT be used. These finishes are softer than chrome plate and special care must be taken when cleaning, use only diluted washing up liquid or Bristan’s own Goldbrite cleaner So-called cream cleaners contain powerful solvents and abrasives and must NOT be used. DO NOT use bleach. Wiping after use will avoid the formation of scale caused by hard water drying on the surface. The build up of soap deposits and lime scale will prove difficult to remove and must be avoided.
How do the tap heads come off Bristan taps?
Usually by removing the “indice cap” or loosening a grub screw, heads then pull off
