We run a number of Internet shops providing products to both end-user customers and trades people. Our customers need someone who can really connect with them and lead them towards the products they really need.

Working with Seetec to provide quality work experience for the long-term unemployed

In addition to employing people, we also operate a work experience scheme through the work of Seetec in Colchester. Some candidates have had a bit of a rough time with their career in the past. For the work experience scheme, we like to give candidates the opportunity to prove that they have the desire and capability to successfully hold down and job and develop in their role to be a useful member of our team.

With every new Seetec individual, apart from the health and safety briefing, we like to try and include them in all our team discussions and get their opinions on the work we carry out. We give the candidate set tasks with expected outcomes to gain experience producing quality work for us. We also spend time discussing personality types and the issues that have prevented them from finding suitable employment in the past.

We are committed to giving candidates an opportunity to prove their value and walk away at the end of their placement with a glowing reference of their attitude, abilities and potential. For those candidates who fail to commit to the scheme we operate, we do have to dismiss them and return them to Seetec to face the consequences of their actions. Accounts Clerk Position Posted 11th February 2009

We require an Accounts Clerk to join our company. The Clerk will need to have the following software skills:

- Quickbooks (or Sage, as your skills can be transferred)
- Advanced level of Excel (Pivot Tables, Multi-nested formulae, Data Analysis)
- Word Processing and Document Presentation
- Access Database Querying

You need to have fast data entry skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute typing speed, be accurate with data entry and have a meticulous approach to detail.

You will be performing a number of tasks, including compiling data for monthly management reporting, adding products to various e-Commerce platforms, entering invoices and checking data. You will be working with our Finance Manager, providing support and assistance.
