Model selection reckoner
To identify the model with the most suitable heat output for your bathroom (linear measurements in feet)
Step 1: Multiply room length x room width x room height = room volume (cu ft)
Step 2: Multiply room volume as calculated in Step 1 by 5. This figure gives a rule of thumb guide to the heat output (in BTU's) required for the bathroom.
When fitting these rails you will have to use a switched spur, not a plug, as it dose not conform with UK regulation, If you are going to be using the rail in the bathroom. A rail is a separate entity to your system, but can be connected to the heating system at a later date by adding a set of valves if needed.
With these rails the best thing to use when requiring control over them is a time switch. If they are thermostatic controlled, they will be on all day and will increase you fuel bill. So it would make more sense to have the rail on in the morning and in the evening when youre using the room.
The electric rails we sell are filled with a special liquid and the rails are distributed to a company (In Essex) for this to be completed. We no longer fill the rails with oil as the EU has set new legislation on the dumping of oil. We do not install the elements as we have had too many items being damaged by the courier companies.
Please note all instructions illustrate on how to screw the element home are supplied. The element may be installed either side to suit your needs according to which side the power source originates.
Prices do Inc VAT. Delivery will be normally 3 7 working days. We will try our best to get this rail to you ASAP; but as we rely on couriers, this is not always possible as they can take 2 days, even though our items by next day & is £15.
