USE OF THIS SITE

By accessing and using any part of this site, the visitor/consumer ("you") agrees with www.tradeplumbing.co.uk ("we") to be bound by these terms.

If you do not accept these terms, you may not use this site, access or display any of the information made available to you at this site.

These terms for the sales of goods govern any contract for sale that www.tradeplumbing.co.uk enters into with you. 

Your statutory rights are not affected.

 To be eligible to purchase products on the Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Website, under English law you must:

  • Be over the age of 18 years,
  • Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information;
  • Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO Box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable
  • Possess a valid credit or debit card.

www.tradeplumbing.co.uk accept on-line payment with all the major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch.

We also accept all credit and debit cards carrying the MasterCard or Visa logos with theSECPay & PayPal system.

www.tradeplumbing.co.uk reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time.

 

DELIVERY

  • When your order arrives, you will be asked to sign to say that you have received the goods and that they are in good condition.  If you aren't able to check the contents of the package at the time of delivery, please sign for the parcel, adding a note stating that the package is "Damaged / Unchecked".  Please remember that if you do not do mark the delivery card with this information, it may affect your eligibility to make a claim for damaged goods at a later time.

 

  • If your goods do arrive damaged or incomplete, you must tell us within 7 days of the delivery date.  If you do not let us know within this time, we are unable to make a claim to either the manufacturer, or the courier.  You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 7 days. 

 

  • If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf, you agree to ensure that your nominated signatory checks the goods prior to acceptance. You agree to accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if your nominated signatory signs on your behalf and fails to check the delivery. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your accepting goods and signing a delivery note without checking the goods for carrier damage.

 

  •  All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.

 

PALLET ITEMS

This notice has been provided to inform our valued customers of the company’s procedure we have had to implement to ensure your order arrives to you intact.  Time after time, we have had bad experiences with delivery firms.  On occasions, goods would arrive at our customers' premises marked, soiled, broken or in several pieces.  This was unacceptable to us, so we have shopped relentlessly to find a competent courier company that would provide us with an excellent level of quality and customer service.  We now use a company who ensure that goods arrive intact, along with providing a quality, personal service.  Because we have selected a careful, concientious courier (which was more of a challenge to find than anticipated!), we have had to accept certain restrictions for delivery:

  • Total time taken for goods to arrive will be 3-14 working days, provided the item is in stock (although this may take longer if the item is a special order).

 

OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE

A binding contract is formed between you and www.tradeplumbing.co.uk when you receive confirmation from us by e-mail, fax or other agreed means, letting you know that your order has been accepted.

 

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

  • Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within 7 days of receiving your goods.  A full refund - excluding cost of the delivery charge and return postage - is payable, providing you take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession and return the goods (unused and unfitted) by (Royal Mail special delivery). 

 

  • If you would like to return the goods you have received you may do so but you must let us know within 7 days from the date you receive the goods. It is from this time we have 30 days to reimburse your funds but in most cases we can refund before this time.  We are not in breach of contract until this time has elapsed and will not absorb the cost of returned items.

 

  • Exceptions of the right to cancel your order relate to products that have been custom made to the consumer's specification and /or have been clearly personalised to a particualr specification.

 

  • To cancel, you can email us, or write to us (see paragraph 3 in the delivery section) within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number.

 

  • Special Order Items – i.e. whirlpool baths, bespoke towel rails, electric-only towel rails, custom finish taps (finishes other than chrome), non-condensing boilers, special order ceramics and tiles will be subject to re-stocking charges, which will vary - depending on the products (10-40%).
 
 

SUPPLY OF GOODS

 

 

  • If, for any reason, goods will take longer than 30 days to be delivered to you, we will notify you by e-mail.  In the rare event of a delayed delivery (in excess of 30 days), you have the choice to either wait for the goods to arrive or request a complete refund.

 

  • We will illustrate clearly the period in which any special offers are to start and for which time they must terminate.

 

  • Please note all our items sold are designed for UK installation only. 

 


PRICES

 

  • All orders to Mainland UK will be sent via road delivery. 

 

  • Delivery charge to Mainland UK will be notified within PayPal shopping cart system.

 

  • As a guide, boilers normally cost around £25 to deliver, Towel rails £15 and Taps £10 - £15. These prices are dependent on how many items are purchased.

 

  • Delivery charges on www.tradeplumbing.co.ukare quoted for UK domestic addresses only. If you require goods to be sent to other addresses outside of the UK, or to a business premise, please contact us at sales@tradeplumbing.co.uk for details.

 

 

 

  • www.tradeplumbing.co.uk endeavour to deliver your purchases within 3-10 working days from the date of the receipt of your order. 

 

  • Delivery time for special items may take longer.

 

  • All deliveries are subject to payment authorisation. If an item is temporarily out of stock and dispatch is anticipated to be greater than 10 days, www.tradeplumbing.co.uk  will contact you by e-mail or telephone to arrange a new delivery date convenient to you.

Unwanted Goods
  • Under our 7 day money-back guarantee, if - for any reason - you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, www.tradeplumbing.co.uk  will give you a full refund excluding cost of delivery and return, provided that goods are returned to us in the condition sent, by (Royal Mail Special delivery), within 7 days of your having received them.

 

  • Please note we do not carry costs for returns.

 

  • All returned items should be returned unused, correctly packaged, and with all fittings and guarantees enclosed. 

 

  • Please ensure that you do not mark the packaging (except to attach a return label). 

 

  • If you write an address (ours, yours, or anyone's) on the packaging, we will be unable to refund you, as the product is no longer in a resaleable condition.
Damaged or Faulty Goods

  • Although every care has been taken to ensure that your items are delivered carefully and on time, sometimes an accident is unavoidable.  It is therefore essential that you examine the goods on delivery  - in case they are damaged or faulty. Do not sign for them if this is the case. 

 

  • If you inform us within 3 days of delivery that the goods are delivered damaged or faulty we will generally replace them on site.

 

  • If you do not inform us within 7 days, we shall have no liability for goods said to be damaged on delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  • Images on our website do not show the actual size of the items.

 

  • All sizes and measurements are approximate, but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible. On the rare occasion that there is an error, we will advise you about it as soon as possible.

 

  • Sometimes, our product specifications may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price.

 

  • If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our 7 day money back guarantee.

Any disputes not resolved by normal complaints procedure will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England under English Law.
 

PROVISION

If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.
