Keeping warm during the ‘so called summer’ with some random radiators

British weather is completely unpredictable. One minute you are sat outside in your shorts and t-shirt complaining it’s too hot, the next minute you are stuck inside in your woolly jumper complaining it is too cold.

With unpredictable weather set for the rest of the season we have predicted that many of us will be sat around our fires and heating radiators for the foreseeable future until the sun finally shows its face or we give up hope and move abroad.

And seen as though we may be stuck around our heating radiators for some time, we thought we would find some funky radiators from around the globe for you to have a look  at and choose your fave! Enjoy!

Hot Stuff on the Radiator Catwalk

These rather modern and funky looking radiators prove that central heating radiators don’t have to be boxy and boring.

However, as cool as they look I really can’t imagine people being huddled around them on a cold evening. You would look like you were praying to some rather odd looking piece of art. Cool but not really practical.

Heating your home in style

Heating radiators don’t have to be boring! The Aeon Speira Radiator resembles more of a post-modern sculpture than a radiator. Consisting of a metallic DNA structure with 120 individual satin brushed stainless steel blades, the radiator spirals upwards to create a futuristic and funky radiator.

As beautiful as these heating radiators looks, they come with a bit of a price tag of $23,500!

Adagio Radiator

This rather modern heating radiator is a great new way of adding musical instruments into your home to make you look more cultured. However this designer central heating radiator is worth a few dollars and you would probably be better off buying the real thing and learning to play it rather then pretending to impress your friends by ‘playing the radiator’ and burning your hands in the process.

Lego Man

Apparently this is a real Lego radiator called Brick. The best part of the design is the ability to pick of some of the Lego bricks attached to the radiator. Easy on the eye, not so easy on the budget though coming in at $7280! Think I might just stick to my Lego box set thanks.

The Radiator Chair

This Radiator Chair is a fantastic concept but I don’t think it actually heats up when you sit on it. Even if it did, it doesn’t actually look that comfy to sit on, especially with its lovely $1,430 price tag!

I think I will just stick to the sofa.
