The Lucilla stainless steel designer radiator is made using a 304 grade of stainless steel. This is deemed to be the best grade of stainless steel to use for a heating product as it is the most dense. This gives an improved heat output and a longer lifespan. This does however make the radiators harder to manufacture, meaning more time has to be spent on producing them. Whilst this does make them a more expensive product, this extra time spent on the manufacturing process, combined with the look and handmade feel of the radiators, makes them well worth the extra cost.
