Reinforced acrylic baths that are incredibly strong and hard-wearing.
What is Trojancast?
Trojancast is a substantial reinforcement process for an acrylic bath. This reinforcement process results in each bath being incredibly strong and hard-wearing. This gives you the reminiscent assurance of an old cast iron bath but with the natural warmth and quality acrylic has.
The intensive reinforcement processes and final (green) ‘flow coat’ jacket to the entire underside of the bath adds strength and insulating properties. This keeps your bath water hotter for longer!.
About Trojan Plastics UK manufactured products
From small beginnings in 1975, Trojan Plastics has become one of the largest manufacturers of acrylic baths in Europe, with a reputation for manufacturing quality products.
Today Trojan Plastics produces a substantial range of bath and panel designs for a wide & varied customer base. Operating from West Yorkshire in the UK, the manufacturing site has undergone a sustained and continued investment programme, both modernising former mill buildings as well as the manufacturing equipment used to produce our quality product.
As a company Trojan continually invest in new designs, plant and equipment in order to keep moving forward in an ever evolving and fiercely dynamic and competitive global market.
At all levels of Trojans organisation remain the forerunners of its industry. They set the standard in bath manufacturing both within the UK and overseas. Products are manufactured to a high standard and specification, always at a competitive price.
Trojan Plastics Ltd offer Eco water conserving baths which come in a variety of styles. Water conserving baths are more environmentally friendly as they use less water than a standard bath.
Each person within our customers’ organisation is paramount to us. We have a responsibility to show every customer our core strengths, educate them on our products and demonstrate our manufacturing ability. We are confident that Trojan is the number one choice in bath and panel purchase, but the customer remains the key element success.

Our advice for the maintenance and care of our acrylic baths.
Trojan Plastics Ltd prides itself on manufacturing acrylic and styrene products to the highest possible standards. Our manufacturing facilities are exceptional and as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of acrylic bath tubs we pride ourselves on the specification of our products and after sales support.
We are confident that our products will give you years of trouble free service provided they are maintained and cared for. These are our recommendations and instructions.
Trojan Plastics Ltd manufactures its baths from 100% cast acrylic sheet. The colour of your acrylic product is not a surface finish or ‘glaze’ but it the same colour throughout the sheet. The bath should be cleaned immediately after use whilst the water is draining and is still warm. Should the bath be cold before draining any residue in the water can harden on the sides and base of bath and will be harder to remove. Hard water locations can leave insoluble lime salts at and below the water line and also below leaking taps. If allowed to build up they are more difficult to remove. Please use hot soapy water for cleaning and wipe the bath dry.
Due to the nature of acrylic and the way it is manufactured, surface scratches can be removed with a rubbing compound (such as a car colour restorer) and fine wet & dry paper. Rubbing with a car colour restorer and a soft cloth will bring back the original shine. If any deposits build up on the surface of the acrylic it may be removed with car colour restorer and a soft cloth.
Acrylic is not flammable but will burn and melt if it comes into contact with naked flames or excessively hot objects (such as a burning cigarette end).
Acrylic has good resistance to properties such as acids and alkalis but organic solvents, such as paint strippers, peroxide etc., can cause damage to the surface and should not be allowed to have contact with it. If by accident this happens dilute with hot soapy water and wash away, drying the surface.
Our acrylic baths are not designed for use with hoists or lifts which are fixed or placed inside the bath. Such devices can damage the surface or structure of the bath.
Never place ladders or similar household aids in the bath.
All baths supplied by Trojan Plastics come with a confident 25 year guarantee from Trojan, on Trojancast baths this is extended to 30 years - full details of Trojans guarantee is listed below;
''We only use sanitary grade cast acrylic which has been tested & passed to EN263/BS7015. In addition to this all baths are manufactured & tested to meet and exceed the European & British Standard EN198/BS4305.
All testing is carried out by an independent & industry recognised company, Smithers Rapra.
The guarantee covers acrylic products manufactured by Trojan Plastics Ltd and installed in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. If, in our opinion, the product does not meet our stringent quality standards and has failed under the terms if the guarantee we will undertake to repair, replace and credit that item, at our opinion.
Should a claim be made under the guarantee we ask that the following conditions are met:
Proof of purchase is submitted at the time of the claim and that the bath has been fitted in accordance with out fixing instructions with the parts supplied and in line with general good plumbing practice.
We need to ensure that the product has been maintained and cared for in accordance with our Care Instructions. We cannot accept responsibility for the failure of the product if, in our opinion, it has been modified, misused, neglected or wilfully or accidentally damaged. In addition it should have been used for its sole design purpose.
We must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect the product in the installed situation. If removed, the product should be retained for inspection.
If we authorise the replacement of the product we will require two estimates for re-fixing costs. Should these quotes been deemed, by Trojan Plastics Ltd, to be unreasonable we reserve the right to send our own qualified installer.
Our policy is one of continued development. If, in our opinion, the product has failed under the terms of the guarantee and a replacement is offered but the model has been withdrawn, we will replace with the nearest equivalent.
Please note that impact damage is not covered under the guarantee. Impact damage will usually result in the bath cracking or developing a hairline split. This damage can occur prior to or during installation or even after fitting. The bath will not have been manufactured with a crack in it.
Our liability is limited to the single product in question and not to the whole bathroom suite. This guarantee does not extend to cover consequential loss or damage or installation costs arising from defective product. This guarantee is not transferable to the owner of the product.
This guarantee is effective for products purchased after January 2012, states our entire liability, and is offered to customers acquiring our products as consumers, not in the course of a trade or business. This guarantee does not in any way affect the statutory or other rights of a consumer.''
Purpose Built Factory
Trojan has built a complete new factory to manufacture Trojancast products. Separate from its other production areas this factory has been equipped with the latest technologies and is run by a team of dedicated and specially trained personnel who take pride in each and every Trojancast bath they produce.
Quality means everything to Trojancast. At each stage of production the bath is checked to ensure it reaches our exceptionally high standards. Each person checking the bath stamps a label acknowledging they have fulfilled their job requirement. This ensures that the bath manufactured meets our quality criteria. This check label is placed on the back of the bath and remains with it.
In addition to the natural benefits of acrylic and the Trojancast process, all Trojancast baths come with our luxury fittings pack. In addition to wall brackets and centre foot & bracket, standard fittings are upgraded to M12 threads (from M10), 12mm Feet (from M10 feet), 500mm steel cross sections (from tubular cradles) and two jacklegs giving front rim support. The guarantee on the bath is also increased from the standard 25 years to a 30 year guarantee.
