Installation & Compliance Notes

This cylinder is designed for installation in open-vented direct heating systems and must be installed by a qualified plumber or heating engineer in accordance with Building Regulations Part L1b, the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, and the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.

The cylinder must be installed with an appropriate cold feed and vent pipe arrangement from the header tank. Where an immersion heater is to be fitted, all electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Part P of the Building Regulations. Always commission and pressure-test the system prior to handover.
