Gledhill EnviroFoam Stainless Indirect Vented Hot Water Cylinder – 117 Litre, 900 x 450mm

The Gledhill EnviroFoam Stainless Indirect Vented Cylinder is a premium-grade hot water storage solution engineered as the ideal like-for-like replacement for an existing copper cylinder. Manufactured from 100% recyclable duplex stainless steel using the very latest automated welding procedures, every cylinder undergoes full post-weld treatment to ensure welds are as strong as the parent metal — delivering exceptional structural integrity and long-term corrosion resistance.

With all tapping heights fully compliant with BS1566, the EnviroFoam Stainless slots directly into existing pipework configurations, significantly reducing installation time and labour costs on replacement jobs. Supplied complete with 22mm compression fittings, a power shower take-off, and a secondary return connection as standard, this cylinder is ready to install straight out of the box.

Ideal For

  • Like-for-like replacement of existing copper indirect vented cylinders
  • Traditional open-vented (gravity-fed) heating systems
  • Properties in hard water areas where copper cylinders are prone to early failure
  • Upgrades requiring improved energy efficiency and Part L1b compliance
  • Domestic hot water systems served by a conventional boiler (gas, oil, or solid fuel)

Why Choose the Gledhill EnviroFoam Stainless Indirect Vented Cylinder?

  • BS1566 Tapping Heights – All connections positioned to match standard copper cylinder tapping heights, enabling direct replacement without re-pipework.
  • Duplex Stainless Steel Construction – 100% recyclable and significantly more corrosion-resistant than copper or standard stainless steel, ideal for all water conditions including hard water areas.
  • Post-Weld Treatment – Full post-weld treatment on every cylinder ensures weld integrity matches the strength of the parent metal for long-term reliability.
  • Corrugated Heat Exchanger Coil – High-efficiency indirect coil maximises heat transfer from the boiler, reducing recovery times and improving system performance.
  • 35mm HCFC-Free Insulation – Environmentally responsible foam insulation minimises standby heat loss and helps reduce energy bills.
  • Compression Fittings Supplied – 22mm compression fittings included as standard for straightforward, tool-friendly installation.
  • Power Shower Take-Off & Secondary Return – Dedicated connections supplied for power shower pumps and secondary hot water return circuits.
  • Part L1b Compliant – Meets current Building Regulations Part L1b requirements for energy efficiency in existing dwellings.
