Zilmet 250 Litre Red Solar Plus is a membrane expansion vessel manufactured according to the PED 97/23 EC and EN 13831 standards, suitable for solar systems.Inside the solar circuit, the particularly high temperature requires adequate provision for heat venting. The solar flow that reaches temperatures above 200°C evaporates and can reach the solar station itself, damaging parts of the system such as the pumps, fittings, seals and above all the membrane of the expansion vessel. To be able to withstand the highest temperatures Zilmet developed the membrane ZILAN, specially designed for solar applications. The membrane ZILAN It is made of synthetic rubber resistant up to 100 °C, the result of the experience gained in the solar thermal systems sector.
