  6. BTUs, Watts and Conversions


    Working out the temperature required for your radiator can be a little daunting, which is why we've put together this blog post to help you out.

    All of our radiators and towel rails should display their temperatures in terms of British Thermal Units (BTUs), the industry measurement for displaying temperature. BTUs are based on the correlation between the flow temperature in the system, the return temperature and the average room temperature. There are two standards for calculating BTUs: the Delta 50 standard is employed in mainland Europe whilst the Delta 60 standard is used in the UK.     Your boiler could be turned off if flue cannot be fully inspected
